More than the virtue of alphabetical order, Sinéad Allen is first on the “to call” list for strategic internal communications thanks to her steady hand and experience in supporting organizations through change.
Sinéad’s background and Master’s Degree in Marketing help her deeply understand how a business needs to operate closely with its customers. She believes the key to proving value to customers is engaged employees who have at their fingertips timely and relevant messages.
While she has pursued excellence in internal communications for the past two decades, Sinéad has been at global life sciences leader Cytiva since 2020, leading Corporate Internal Communications since March 2023. Before that, Sinéad managed communications for RBS/NatWest bank and its subsidiary Ulster Bank, as well as multi-national biopharma company GSK.
Since childhood, she’s been motivated by bringing people together and her work is characterized by a human, often humorous, touch. She often uses employee voices and stories, thanks to her excellent collaboration skills.
Besides earning her Master’s in Marketing from Dublin City University, Sinéad holds a Higher Diploma in Management and Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian, from University College Cork. Sinéad lives near Waterford, Ireland, with her young son Oliver.
