Internationally recognised intranet and digital workplace leader with a proven track record in business transformation, delivery and consultancy in a range of industries, from the high tech of Sony PlayStation in Silicon Valley to the low tech of refugee camps in Africa.
15 years of consulting experience across communication, technology, talent and business change for global brands including Google, eBay, Sony PlayStation, BBC, AOL, Hitachi, Barclays and JP Morgan.
Intranets and engagement have become my passion, but I started in Talent Management and quickly came to realise that people and communication were the two biggest risks to business change’s success.
What started out unwittingly creating my first intranet as a project site for a multi-country recruitment programme in the mid-2000s has since become my expertise and passion, generating efficiencies of over £3 million per year with direct reporting responsibilities to the board.
Having travelled the world understanding how organisations successfully adopt technology, plus overcome the people and communication challenges which impact success, I partner with organisations looking to increase adoption of technology driven change.
A regular on the speaking circuit, I’m often found at international conferences sharing innovations, best practice and hosting panels.
In my spare time, when not being bossed around by my daughter or dog, I’ll be mostly found creating free to attend, vendor neutral, internal comms networking groups across the US and UK, bringing strategic level communicators and change professionals together to discuss challenges, ideas and solutions.
Always happy to help, so if you're looking to transform your communications and / or employee engagement programmes, and are looking for ideas where to start or where to focus, send me a message and we can arrange a call or coffee.
