As Wells Fargo’s leader of Engagement, Kelli Carlson oversees social engagement for Wells Fargo Innovation Group. Her responsibilities include consulting businesses, engaging customer and partner communities, developing cross-partner digital strategies, and working to transform the culture of collaboration to innovation across the company.
Kelli has been active in the digital collaboration space for more than 15 years. Most recently, she was the Head of Internal Collaboration for the Enterprise Social Media Team, overseeing a team dedicated to the social activation of team members inside and out of the organization. Prior to her Enterprise role, she was VP of Collaboration Strategy for Wells Fargo’s Wholesale Banking team, where she also held previous roles supporting communications, technology and strategy. Before joining Wells Fargo, Kelli managed the Intranet/Extranet Portal at Retek (now Oracle Retail), and created the company’s first Intranet and social site, “twiki,” in 1999.
She earned a B.A. in Scandinavian Studies & Political Science from the University of Minnesota and completed the Scandinavian Masters Programme at the Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden.
A North Dakota native, Kelli currently resides with her 2 boys in Minnesota and in her free time, actively teaches stand-up paddle board yoga in Wisconsin, Minnesota and California.
