Kate Kahle is an award-winning digital leader with 20+ years of experience as an editor, science communicator and project manager. She began as a physicist before receiving distinction for MSc Science Communication.
She joined CERN in 2006 to communicate CERN-led European projects. In 2012, she became CERN’s first social media manager, before later leading the writing, web and social media teams at CERN. In 2021, she became CERN's digital editor and now leads CERN’s internal communications.
Each day I learn something new. With more than 100 nationalities working together at CERN, each conversation unites different cultural experiences in a melting pot of ideas.
