I'm currently the Senior Director of Digital Workplace Solutions in Corporate Systems at RBC, and lead the areas of internal social collaboration, intranet, enterprise search, mobility development, health & safety, occupancy, and emerging technologies for the digital employee.
In years past, I had roles in RBC Innovation encompassing the following areas:
1. Research and Knowledge Creation - Partnering with industry, academia, research institutes and specialized consultancies to drive innovation within RBC and lead the creation and dissemination of research knowledge to our internal business partners.
2. Innovation Architecture - In collaboration with other groups within RBC, develop an architectural approach for innovation initiatives that accelerates the time to market to deliver new concepts and solutions to its end users.
3. Digital Collaboration - Leverage internal social business platforms to build a vibrant digital workplace hub within the organization.
I originally started at RBC as a Senior Manager at the RBC Solutions Architecture team.
Before joining RBC, I held the position of Senior Managing Consultant in Emerging Technologies at IBM Global Business Services.
I have over 18 years of experience in I/T Consulting and Services, focused mainly in the following three areas:

- Solutions architecture
I have been a featured speaker at several conferences and client events on the topics of Enterprise Web 2.0 and Social Computing.
I worked with clients and client teams in Canada, US, Spain, UK, Switzerland, Turkey, Singapore and South Africa, providing consulting advice to executives and decision makers in industries as diverse as banking, insurance, telecommunications, government, and media.
I have a B.Sc. degree in Biology from the Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA degree from the University of Toronto, with emphasis in strategy and finance.
